Pennsylvania State Police has released the following reports.
DEC. 25, 2015
In the 5000 block of Old Carriage Road in East Allen Township, Northampton County, a simple assault case occurred between the accused, Linda Gouse, 30, of Bath and a 31-year-old man, also of Bath. The victim said he caught Gouse using heroin. He took her purse containing suspected heroin and associated paraphernalia. Police say Gouse began chasing him around the front yard of the residence while grabbing and scratching him.
A criminal complaint was filed, charging Gouse with simple assault and drug-related offenses.
JAN. 5
At the Dunkin’ Donuts on Lloyd Street in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, a 24-year-old Allentown woman alleged her wallet was stolen from a locker while she was working at the restaurant between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Police say an investigation is ongoing.
JAN. 11
A catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle in the 800 block of Marcon Boulevard in Hanover Township, Lehigh County. Police say while the female victim was working, the theft took place from a Honda Odyssey van between 6 and 10 p.m.
JAN. 19
A collision occurred between the drivers of a 2009 Honda CIV and a 2002 Ford Taurus along the ramp to state Route 22 East from Schoenersville Road, Hanover Township, Northampton County. Police say the crash occurred at 9 a.m.
Police say the driver of the Honda was following too closely behind the Ford, which resulted in a motor vehicle accident when the driver of the Ford stopped the vehicle at the merge point because of stopped traffic on state Route 22 East.
Both vehicles sustained damage. Neither driver was charged, but the driver of the Honda received a warning about following too closely.
Police did not identify either of the drivers on the public police report.
