Marvin J. Anthony, 76, formerly of Slatington, died Jan. 24, 2016, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall, where he resided.

Born Dec. 4, 1939, in Slatington, he was the son of the late George W. and Helen E. (Reichard) Anthony.

His survivors include siblings Martin H. of Slatington, Mamie E. Berger of Orefield, Hilda G. Fatzinger and her husband, Donald, of Germansville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by siblings Malcolm E.T. and Aldine Florence Anthony.

His funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Jan. 29, 2016, in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. James W. LeVan officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Interment will follow the service at Union Cemetery, Slatington.
