Storytime with Miss Jo will be held 11 a.m. today (Jan. 28) and Feb. 4 and 11.

All ages are welcome to attend. There is no preregistration.

Join us for the latest craze of adult coloring held noon-3 p.m. every Saturday. Stop in and unwind from a stress-filled week.

Stop in anytime during February and participate in our Blind Date with a Book event.

The staff will select and wrap books for you to take out. We will list the book’s category and give you some clue about its content.

Once you check out the book, you can unwrap it, and your “date” begins!

Join our book discussion group for Valentine’s Day. Our Books We Love event will be held 1-3 p.m. Feb. 6.

You can discuss your favorite book or favorite type of book. The staff will select some of our favorites for you to look at.

The program is open to everyone.

Try to stump our experts on Scrabble night, 5-7 p.m. Feb. 29. We challenge you to beat our best!

From 1 to 3 p.m. March 5, we will gather to say goodbye to one of our favorite television shows, “Downton Abbey.”

We will discuss our favorite characters and most memorable scenes from all six seasons. We have purchased some new books about “Downton Abbey,” and those will be available as well as some staff suggestions of similar books from the 1920s.

Everyone is welcome!

Now that winter is upon us, don’t forget to drop by and stock up on some books and movies. We have a wide selection available – something for everyone.

If you can’t make it to the library, you can check out our electronic databases: Overdrive, Zinio and Comics Plus. You will be able to download books, magazines and comics from the comfort of your home, and there are never any late fees. All you need is a library card.

We are accepting donations for our April book sale. All donations are tax deductible, and we send out a thank you note as a receipt.

We no longer accept VHS tapes, encyclopedias or textbooks.
