The 100% Raw (no wraps) Powerlifting Organization has released its top-10 rankings from 2015 and Hokendauqua resident Don Kuhns ranks high in the state-wide, age group category.

The 60-64 year old, 198-pound class has Kuhns, 63, in third place with best competition lifts of a 418-pound squat, a 281-pound bench press and a 490-pound deadlift.

Kuhns competed in three meets last year, two in Bigler, and one in Erie.

All 100% Raw events prohibit supportive apparel that aids in lifting more, and also all meets are tested for performance enhancing substances.
