Wehr’s Dam

Grundsau Lodsch Nu 16 will be presenting a “Weather Prediction and Pa Dutch” event 7 a.m. Feb. 2 at Wehr’s Dam Park, South Whitehall Township.

Everyone is invited to enjoy this traditional event in celebration of Groundhog Day.

Jahde and Lee (groundhogs) will arrive either by sled or raft depending on the condition of the Jordan River.

Everyone willing to brave the cold weather and the early hour is invited to enjoy a short program including the weather prediction for the next six weeks and sing a few songs.

Cookies, coffee and hot chocolate will be served.

The annual banquet for the Grundsau Lodge will be held March 4 at Jordan Family Center, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield.
