Janet M. Heintzelman, 76, of Coplay, died Jan. 15, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of the late Francis B. Heintzelman Sr.

Born May 1, 1939, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary H. (Lord) Newhart.

Her survivors include children Francis B. Jr. of Slatington, Grace A. David of Coplay, Richard T. Heintzelman and his wife, Carol, with whom she resided, Deborah L. Nixon and her husband, Mark, of Easton; siblings Kenneth Newhart of Catasauqua, Ruth Weiner of Northampton, Virginia Guth of Alburtis; seven grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Marsteller.

Her service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
