Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown, is offering the following events.
Jan. 23: DJ Frantic Freddie, Sr. will be playing oldies and taking requests at the dance 7:30-10:30 p.m. in the Trexler room. The per person fee includes light refreshments. Singles and couples welcome.
Jan. 22 and 29: Instructor Ted LaRose is offering a class, “Ghosts in the Lehigh Valley,” 1-2 p.m. He will discuss ghosts, haunted houses and the unexplained.
Jan. 27: The movie “Selma,” a chronicle of Martin Luther King’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Ala. in 1965 will be shown at noon.
Half-hour appointments for individuals needing help with a special computer, cell phone or tablet problem will be offered 1-4 p.m. Computer help is free to members. Call the center for a time.
Jan. 29: Trisha Baker will lead a coloring and wine class 6-8:30 p.m. Materials will be provided and light refreshments.
