Hofstra

Freshman Omar Haddad, of Orefield is a member of the 2015-16 wrestling team, Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y.

Hofstra, a NCAA Division I program which competes in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association, returns 14 wrestlers, including seven starters, from last year’s squad that placed 13th in the EIWA and 35th in the NCAA Division I Championships.

The Pride competed in the Cliff Keen-Las Vegas Invitational at the Cashman Convention Center on Dec. 4-5, 2015.

The tournament featured 13 of the current top 25 Division I programs in the country in the 40-team field.
