Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., will be having its next all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Jan. 24.

Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, SOS, home fries, American toast, juice, coffee and tea will be served.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, is holding a designer handbag bingo 2 p.m. Jan. 31. Doors open 12:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase.

There also will be a silent auction of great items.

Tickets can be purchased at the church office 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday at a lower price than if purchased at the door.

Catasauqua Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a half-price sale on men’s and women’s coats, shoes and boots until Jan. 28.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

Donations of good, used clothing are gratefully accepted during store hours, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.
