TOWN HALL

The most famous peace speech of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will be read at 7 p.m, Jan. 15, Town Hall Rotunda, Bethlehem City Hall, 10 E. Church St., Bethlehem. The event is free and open to the public.

The speech, “Beyond Vietnam,” aka “A Time to Break Silence,” was delivered at Riverside Church, New York City, April 4, 1967, exactly one year before King was assassinated.

The speech and contemporary commentary will be read by 10 area peace and justice activists. The program will feature music by the LEPOCO Peace Singers.
