‘Homeless’ exhibit

MORAVIAN COLLEGE

An opening reception and talk by artist Willie Baronet will be held 6:30 - 8 p.m. Jan. 21 for his exhibition, “We’re All Homeless,” continuing through March 6, Payne Gallery, Priscilla Payne Hurd Campus, Moravian College, Main and Church streets, Bethlehem. The event is free and open to the public.

The exhibit is part of Moravian College’s year-long “In Focus: Poverty And Inequality” theme programming.

In July 2014, Baronet traveled from Seattle to San Diego to New York with a three-person documentary film crew, six cameras and two rented Dodges to purchase more than 300 signs from homeless persons. Baronet interviewed and asked 150 people about their stories and backgrounds to answer the question, “What is home?” The exhibit is an artistic display of the signs.

Gallery hours: noon - 4 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday.
