Louis J. Yob

Louis J. Yob, 83, of Hanover Township, died Jan. 4, 2016, at St. Luke’s University Hospital-Fountain Hill.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Granville and Anna (Wicenza) Yob. He was the husband of Helen (Stern) Yob for 41 years.

He was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was a rural mail carrier for 31 years the U.S. Postal Service until he retired in 1987.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fountain Hill.

He was a member of the Freemansburg American Legion.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Louis A. and his wife Karen of Bethlehem and Brian J. of Allentown; a brother, Gerald and his wife Doris Yob of Freemansburg; and three grandchildren, Anthony, Erin and Allison Yob.
