Timothy J. Riggs, 47, of Lower Macungie Township., died Dec. 30, 2015, in his home. He was the husband of Karen (McIntyre) Riggs. They celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary in July 2015. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Edith M. (Price) Riggs, of Allentown and the late Raymond F. Riggs.

He was a graduate of Salisbury High School and DeSales University, where he received a business degree.

He was a real estate appraiser for Riggs Realty.

He was active in local soccer for many years, including Salisbury High School, DeSales, where he is a member of the Hall of Fame and Lower Macungie Youth Association.

He is survived by his wife; children, Paige A., Ryan C. and Lindsey S., all at home; mother; siblings, Debbie and her husband Larry Schall, of Neffs, Teresa and her husband John Fejes, of Schnecksville, Patrick and his wife Jen, of Alburtis; several nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
