Coplay: Officer rewards safe driver

The Press recently received this message via Facebook. It was sent by a Coplay resident. The message read:

“I thought I would share a nice experience. This morning I was driving home from my parents with my daughter. I was pulled over by a cop in Coplay even though I knew I did nothing wrong.

“The officer came up to me, introduced himself, told me I did nothing wrong and thanked me for wearing my seatbelt and having my daughter in a car seat. He asked if he could give her a gift and gave her an adorable teddy bear and wished us a merry Christmas!

“I thought it would be nice to share a positive experience with police since all you hear is bad.”
