Tammy Sue Bauer, 43 of Slatington, died suddenly Dec. 31, 2015, in her home.

She was the beloved daughter of Sharon Smith (Stanley) of Slatington and the late Donald Bauer.

She was baptized and confirmed at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, Heidelberg Township.

A 1990 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School, she had a love for animals, especially dogs.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Cheyenne Rhodes of Lehighton; sister Donna Bridges and Kevin of North Carolina; niece Emily; nephew Luke; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her infant son, Barry Scott Rhodes; maternal grandmother Berdine Mack and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Knittle.
