Anne E. Hulme

Anne E. Hulme, 88, formerly of Allentown, died on Dec. 27, 2015, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was the widow of Ronald C. Hulme.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Maude (Chalfont) Rodgers.

A graduate of Allentown High School and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School, New York City. N.Y., she worked for the former John F. Moore Agency for 16 years and then retired to raise a family.

Later she returned to work for the former Wiener and Co. Ins., before retiring in 1991.

She was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church, Orefield.

Her survivors include a son, Peter, of Emmaus and daughter, Susan, of Philadelphia.

Her brother, Lt. Harold Rodgers was killed in WWII and is buried at the American Military Cemetery, Normandy, France, where she visited several times.
