YWCA Bethlehem is pleased to announce the official donation drop-off locations for its 9th Annual Prom Dress Day Event to be held March 12 at the State Theater in Easton.

YWCA’s Prom Dress Day provides local junior and senior girls with a unique shopping experience to purchase a gently used prom dress and accessories at a nominal cost. Community members are invited to donate gently used prom dresses, purses, shoes and jewelry. A wide selection of styles and sizes are needed, including plus sizes, to make Prom Dress Day a success. YWCA Bethlehem anticipates helping 225 Lehigh Valley teens find their “perfect dress” in 2016.

Donations may be dropped off at the following “Dress Drive” locations that are graciously partnering with YWCA Bethlehem to collect dresses between Jan. 10 and Jan. 31.

Extended Dress Drives will be held Jan. 10 through Feb. 15 at the Girls Scouts of Eastern Pa. office in Allentown and YWCA Bethlehem Empowerment Center.

Dresses and other donation items should be in “prom worthy” condition, with no noticeable stains or tears, and preferably less than five years old.
