The Northampton Borough Municipal Building will be closed Jan. 1 in observance of New Year’s Day.

St. John’s Friendly Fifties will meet 1 p.m. Jan. 11 in the church’s social hall, 1343 Newport Ave.

Dale Sine, formerly of the Melody Aces, will entertain.

If Northampton schools are delayed or closed, the meeting is canceled.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Jan. 13 at Northampton Memorial Community Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. Doors open noon.

Entertainment will be provided. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a baked good.

Northampton Memorial Community Center hosts bingo every Monday night.

Doors open 5:30 p.m., and the games begin 7 p.m. The kitchen is open.

Proceeds benefit the recreation center.
