Elwood L. Rumfield , 96, of Schnecksville, died Dec. 25, 2015, with his family by his side in the Above and Beyond Personal Care Facility, Allentown.

He and his wife Kathleen A. (Feinour) Rumfield celebrated their 74th wedding aniversary in February.

Born in Guthsville, he was a son of the late Leon and Minnie (Guth) Rumfield.

A specialty gas mixer for Air Products and Chemicals Co., Hometown, for 27 years, he retired in 1982.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Rosalie M. wife of Thomas L. Bollinger, of Walnutport, Jeannine K. Tease and her companion Gary Seymour Jr. of Emmaus; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

His funeral service and interment will be at the convenience of the family from Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, Jacksonville, Lynn Township.

There will be no calling hours. The Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.

In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions in his memory may be sent to Jacob’s Church Memorial Fund, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066.
