To begin the 275th anniversary year of the church, “Ringing in the 275th Anniversary New Year and Pennsylvania German New Year’s Traditions,” will be held 4 p.m. Jan. 1, 2016, at the church with hand bells, chimes and other noise makers.
Salisbury Middle School is hosting ballroom dancing lessons in the school cafeteria. Learn Swing, Cha Cha and Tango from instructor Con Gallagher. Lessons will be held in four sessions 6:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 8, Jan. 22, Feb. 4 and Feb. 26, 2016. There is a charge. Registration and payment is due Dec. 23. Salisbury High School is hosting a financial aid night 6:30 p.m. Jan. 4, 2016 in the high school auditorium. A representative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will be available to talk about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, financial aid and other important information. Salisbury High School will hold its annual winter ball Jan. 16, 2016 in the old gym. The dance theme is Winter Wonderland and is also a Sadie Hawkins dance.
