South Whitehall police responded 12:33 a.m. on Dec. 11 for a report of a loud group and possible shooting at 3221 Kingston Place, South Whitehall Township.

Police say officers encountered several individuals who were present during the incident, including a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

According to police, an interaction allegedly occurred between the occupants of a vehicle and several individuals at the residence prior to the gunshot injury..

Police say the injured man was treated and transported by EMS to a local hospital for care of a suspected non-life-threatening injury.
