Diane L. Rice, 54, of Bethlehem, died Dec. 05, 2015, at her residence. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Bernadine (Riley) Gross. She was the companion of Danny E. Essig, with whom she resided, for 16 years.

She operated Diane’s 24-7 Bail Bonds, Lehigh Valley, since 1999.

In addition to her companion, she is is survived by two children, Corey C. Merwarth and Mandy Serbia of Hellertown and Stevie L. Rice of Upper Black Eddy; a sister, Carol and her husband Charles Pugliese of Bethlehem Township; and five grandchildren, Kiya, Corden, Collin, Kelsa and Riley.
