Lip balm sale to benefit

The Class of 2016 is selling Gertrude Hawk candy bars. Due to liability issues, students interested in selling the bars must pay up front for the merchandise being sold. Students may choose to sell a full box, half box or a few bars.

If there are any concerns regarding payment, students may talk to Kelly Butterbaugh. If someone is interested in purchasing chocolate bars, talk to a member of the senior class.

The Salisbury High School chapter of No Place for Hate is holding a lip balm fundraiser through Dec. 18. NPFH representatives will take orders individually and during lunches. While it is preferred the order be placed in person so the flavors can be tried before they are bought, an order form can be found here: http://goo.gl/forms/qjn5ytQKLd.

Payment must be dropped off in Room 117 before the order will be processed. All orders will be filled as soon as possible.

Orders are guaranteed to be filled prior to winter break. There are five flavors available: cherry berry, peppermint, mango-peach, cake frosting, and French vanilla.

The lip balms are homemade with natural beeswax, olive oil, vitamin E and vegan-friendly flavor oils. The lip balms come sealed and there is a cost per tube. All profits will go toward future No Place for Hate activities.

Contact Laura DosSantos at ldossantos@salisburysd.org with any questions.

For winter athletes, there will be no activity bus for after-school practices, so winter athletes should take Bus 33 to Salisbury Middle School for those practices. Swimmers needing a ride to KidsPeace Broadway should take Bus 29.

Salisbury Township district schools will have an early dismissal Dec. 23 for winter break. Both Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.
