Laura R. Taylor, 34, of Orefield, died Dec. 5, 2015.

She was the wife of Thomas Taylor.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Susan J. (Weidle) Heffner of Orefield and the late Richard P. Heffner.

After graduating from Northwestern Lehigh High School in 2000, she worked as a home health aide.

She was a member of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, UCC.

A former Girl Scout, she enjoyed shopping, had an appreciation for the arts and cherished her dogs Pickle and Kyra.

In addition to her mother and her husband, Tom, she is survived by a brother Will and his wife, Angie, of Tamaqua, Uncle Dale and Aunt Bev Heffner; niece Mya and nephew Tyler; goddaughter; and friends, Kristin, Steph and Amber, who were more like sisters.

Her memorial service will be at noon Dec. 10 at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville.

Calling will begin at 10 a.m.
