Suburban North YMCA, 880 Walnut St., will hold its seventh annual Tree of Lights 6 p.m. Dec. 21.

The Tree of Lights event provides an opportunity to express appreciation of those we love and cherish. Lights on the tree may be purchased in memory of loved ones or in honor of living friends, family, groups or organizations. There are different levels of contributions, all of which are tax-deductible.

Festivities start with performances by Catasauqua High School Pellatones, the YMCA preschool and pre-K students and the YMCA dancers. Pastor Douglas Crone from First Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua will share a reflection of the holiday season.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Troxell will light the tree this year in honor of Catasauqua Area School District.

Light refreshments will be served following the tree lighting.
