SHS students inducted into honor society

Salisbury High School students are among six students recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

Several dozen people, including the inductees’ family members, LCTI staff and staff from their participating high schools, were on hand for the event.

Mason Creswell, a Salisbury student who studies health occupations at LCTI, Desiree Nester, a Salisbury student, also in the health occupations program and Hayley Werkheiser, a Salisbury student who studies criminal justice are among the inductees. Students from Catasauqua, Dieruff and Northwestern Lehigh high schools were also recognized

The inductees were chosen from a field of 40 nominees and only 130 LCTI students have been selected for membership during the society’s 16-year history at the school.
