Roy M. Brunell, 78, of South Whitehall Township, died Nov. 30, 2015, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Roy and Mary (Siegfeldt) Brunell.
He and his wife Delores (Heckenberger) Brunell celebrated 30 years of marriage together this past February.
A 1955 Liberty High School graduate, he worked for Mack Trucks for many years.
After that, he ran a Mac Tools distributorship until 2003, then started Roy’s Tools Sales and was the owner and operator until his retirement this March.
He was a lifelong New York Yankees Fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Frances, wife of Thomas Duff, Denise, wife of Richard Meyers, and Debbie Brunell, all of Bethlehem; sons Patrick and wife, Lisa, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Michael of Lowville, N.Y.; stepson Christopher Pfeiffer of Allentown; sister, Mary, wife of Donald Spry of Bethlehem; brother Gerald and wife, Sandy, of Bethlehem; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son Roy M. Jr. and two grandsons.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
