Robert W. Yehl, 85, of Allentown, died Dec. 1, 2015, in Above and Beyond Assisted Living, Allentown.

He was the husband of the late Joan G. (Harmony) Yehl.

Born June 25, 1930, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Richard K. and Thelma W. (Heintzelman) Yehl.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.

He was an electrician at Jack Lehr Electric and the former Donmoyer Electric, both in Allentown, for a combined 40 years.

His survivors include companion Midge Peischl of Allentown; children Robert K. of Allentown, Kathleen J., wife of Richard S. Lutterschmidt, of Kutztown, and David R. of Allentown.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Dec. 4, at Grandview Cemetery, 2735 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
