Gloria J. Kern, 65, of Slatedale, died Nov. 20, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Marshall E. Kern and a daughter of the late Kermit and Claudine (Blose) Snyder.

A graduate of the former Slatington High School class of 1968, she made many friends throughout her life at various places of employment including Glenn and Company, Mist-It Dry Cleaners and Northern Lehigh High School.

She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Slatedale.

She had a love for music, reading and crocheting.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Shelly Ulmer and her husband, Chris, of Bethlehem, Stephanie Kern of New Cumberland; brother Larry Blose and his wife, Margaret, of Slatington; sister Brenda Noll and her husband, Thomas, of Houston, Texas; twin granddaughters Ashley and Devon Ulmer; one niece and five nephews.
