Molony accepted into surface
U.S. Naval academy
Venus Molony, Midshipman First Class at the U.S. Naval Academy, was accepted into the surface nuclear program and made commanding officer of the Lucky 13th Company, which runs the football from the USNA at Annapolis to the Army/Navy game in Philadelphia to start the game every year. This is officially the last game of the NCAA season every year and the best-attended college game, often sold out in the summer.
LCCC
Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) inducted 15 students into the college’s chapter of Psi Beta in October. Psi Beta is the national honor society for psychology majors at two-year colleges and encourages professional development and psychological literacy of all students through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research and community service.

Ithaca

The Ithaca College Oracle Honor Society welcomed 160 new members at its induction ceremony Nov. 2. Founded in 1928, the Oracle Honor Society is a historic Ithaca College honor society that recognizes academic excellence. Students who maintain a GPA in the top 10 percent of all students in their school throughout their first full academic year are invited into the society.
