Storytime with Miss Jo will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 3 and 10. All ages are welcome, and there is no preregistration required.

The following dates are special hours for the library:

Dec. 5, closing 2 p.m. for carpet cleaning

Dec. 15, closing 6 p.m. for staff Christmas party

Dec. 17, closed for window replacement

Dec. 24, 25 and 31 and Jan. 1, closed for Christmas and New Year holidays

If you purchased a voucher during our Dec. 1 book fair at Barnes & Noble, you can use your voucher online until Dec. 7. Just input the book fair code during checkout. The library will receive 10 percent of your total purchase as a donation.

The library also will be doing gift wrapping 5-9 p.m. Dec. 17 at Barnes & Noble.

We currently are holding a banner contest. Design a banner that we can use at any of our events.

The contest is open to everyone, and the winner will receive a Barnes & Noble gift card. Entry forms are available at the library.

Deadline for the contest is Dec. 7.

Please join us for our holiday open house noon-3 p.m. Dec. 12. Refreshments will be served; all ages are welcome. We will have storytime, crafts, adult coloring and Christmas music guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

On Dec. 13, our friends at Keystone Pub & Grill, 1410 Grape St., Whitehall, will host a fundraiser for us. Come out 4-7 p.m., and Keystone will donate a portion of your check to the library.

Please make sure to mention you are there for the fundraiser in order for us to receive the donation.

We are holding a holiday 50/50 raffle. For only a small cost per ticket, you could be the lucky winner. The drawing will be held noon Dec. 22.
