For the past three years, Susan Sacks, of Snug at Home, has been organizing holiday fundraisers - from raising funds for a child with special needs to collecting money for a bulletproof vest for a Northampton police K-9 to seeking supplies for Whitehall’s K-9 unit.
This year she wants to help Bethlehem Mounted Police Unit. Annual costs include feed at $3,111; hay at $4,900; bedding at $2,100; and vet trips at $2,500 or more.
If interested in helping, send a check, payable to Snug at Home, to 42 N. Third St., Coplay, 18037. Funds raised will go directly to Bethlehem Mounted Police Unit.
