Union Lutheran to host holiday craft show

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will host its fourth annual holiday craft show 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 21.

Here is an opportunity to enjoy fellowship, do Christmas shopping and enjoy music of the season.

Lunch will be served, and an assortment of homemade baked goods will be available for purchase.

There will be more than 80 crafters with items such as gemstone and wire wrapped jewelry, wood crafts, bird houses, floral arrangements, greeting cards, embroidery, handbags, baskets, painted slates, candy, and wildlife art.

There will also be a Chinese auction.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will offer a joyful Thanksgiving service 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to lift your voice and spirit in joyful thanks, this is the place for you.

For the past few years, Union Lutheran, Schnecksville, and Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, have taken turns conducting a Thanksgiving Eve service for the community.

This year, the Lutherans are hosting. Come and give thanks with your family and neighbors.

An offering will be collected for the food bank administered by the Agape Fellowship Church.

The service will begin 7 p.m. Nov. 25.

If you need a change of pace from Thanksgiving dinner leftovers, the Schnecksville Fire Company buffet style breakfast provides a variety of foods to enjoy.

Meal choices include ham, sausage, eggs, creamed chipped beef, home fries, toast, pancakes and beverages.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast will take place 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 29.
