The public is invited to a spaghetti dinner at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church 4-7 p.m. Nov. 21. The fundraising meal will benefit Boy Scout Troop 59, which is hosting the dinner.

There also will be a bake sale.

Children under the age of 5 eat free.

The Dogs of Faulkner Swamp will perform at Egypt Community Church 10:30 a.m. Nov. 22 during the Sunday worship service. This group performs old-time spirituals, gospel tunes and original spiritual music.

The Whitehall High School swim team is hosting a designer purse bingo at the pavilion of Egypt Park. The fundraiser will take place beginning 6 p.m. Dec. 5. Doors will open 4:30 p.m. Featured prizes include purses by Michael Kors, Coach and Vera Bradley.

There is a discount for tickets purchased in advance. Tickets include 20 regular games.

There will be additional special games, a Chinese auction and refreshments for purchase at the event.
