Marilyn R. Waltz, 78, of Schnecksville, died Nov. 13, 2015, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Ralph L. Waltz.

Born Feb. 9, 1937 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Samuel G. and Emily R. (Focht) Danner.

Employed at Wee Care for Tots, Schnecksville, from 1986-2002, she was fondly known there as “Nana”.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Slatington.

Her survivors include a daughter Kimberly A. Beam of Schnecksville; sister Betty L. Wuchter of Northampton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, David B. Waltz and siblings Howard W. Danner, Althea C. Berg, Dolores N. Danner and Grace A. Chambless.
