A special DUI Roving Patrol, with funding provided by the Lehigh County DUI Task Force was held 11 p.m. Oct. 30 through 3 a.m. Oct. 31. During this patrol, there were 10 vehicle stops, three citations, two people tested for DUI and one DUI arrest.

A resident in the 1800 block of Greenwood Road reported 4:54 p.m. Oct. 29 a basement window was smashed and two rocks were found in the home. Nothing was removed from the home. The incident happened sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 29.

A resident in the 800 block of Robin Hood Drive reported 8:26 a.m. Oct. 30 a deer broke a window of the home. Deer footprints were found by the window.

Richard Cruz, 24, of Allentown, was suspected of driving under the influence 2:09 a.m. Oct. 31 following a traffic stop along East Susquehanna Street. Cruz was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A resident in the 1500 block of East Susquehanna Street was cited for an unattended fire 6:17 p.m. Nov. 1.

Upon reviewing credit card statements, a resident in the 3100 block of Sussex Road reported 3:12 p.m. Nov. 2 unathorized purchases on a credit card Nov. 1 and 2. Twenty-one hats were purchased at a value of $390.03 and sent to a business in Allentown.

Michael Medynec, 52, of Bethlehem, was charged with allegedly making over 50 calls to Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 8:38 a.m. Nov. 2. Medynec allegedly threatened to “blow up the place,” said he had guns and was in the South Philadelphia mob.

Two 15-year-old juveniles were seen walking up to a driveway and removing a black wheelchair 4:46 p.m. Nov. 3. Police stopped the juveniles in the area of Salisbury Road. A juvenile petition will be filed.

A 13-year-old juvenile was found with a knife at the Arts Academy Charter Middle School, 1610 E. Emmaus Ave., 2 p.m. Nov. 4. The juvenile will be referred to the IMPACT program.
