Mary J. (Mamay) Ford, 78, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 6, 2015. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Susanna (Beno) Mamay. She was the wife of the late James R. Ford.
She graduated from Bethlehem Catholic HS.
She worked in the business office of the Allentown State Hospital. She later was a salesclerk for Fotomat and C & J Photo.
She was a member of Incarnation of our Lord Parish, Bethlehem, formerly Sts. Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church.
She was a member of the Pennsylvania Slovak Catholic Union, and had leadership roles at both the local and national level.
She is survived by a daughter, Marie S. Clemens of Salisbury Township; a brother, Stephen Jr. and his wife Sandra Mamay of Hellertown; and a sister Catherine and her husband Louis Repyneck of Hellertown; cousins; nieces; nephews; family and friends. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Matthew Clemens.
