Scott M. Feinour
Scott M. Feinour, 53, of New Tripoli, died unexpectedly Nov. 6, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
He and his wife Stephanie L. (Ehrets) Feinour celebrated their 27th wedding aniversary in October.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Judith E. (Leiby) (Feinour), wife of Allen H. Newhard of Slatington, and the late Ira E. Feinour.
A carpenter for Best Building Co., New Tripoli, since 1991, he was a 1980 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School.
He was a member of Jacob’s Church, Jacksonville, Lynn Township.
A life member of both the Lynnport and New Tripoli fire companies, he was also a former active firefighter.
He was a member of the Junior Order of United Mechanics and the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, both in New Tripoli.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time at his cabin in Sullivan County.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kaitlin B., wife of Ray Sacks, of Mertztown; son Stone Scott Feinour at home; sister Nicole L. Feinour of Farmington, Maine; and brothers, Steve I. Feinour and his wife, Marnie, and Chris D. and his wife Shani, all of New Tripoli.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Nov. 12, in Jacob’s Church, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, with calling hours at 9:30 a.m.
The Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.
Interment will take place in adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to establish an education fund for Stone S. Feinour, sent to the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066.
Contributions may also be made in his memory to the church memorial fund, sent to the church.
