Rosemarie J. Reilly

Rosemarie J. Reilly, 81, of Allentown, died Nov. 8, 2015, in her home, with her husband of 60 years, Thomas E. Reilly Sr., by her side.

Born Nov. 30, 1933, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edward L. Sr. and Helen M. (Mulzet) Ehrlacher.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, and a former member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena and Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, both in Allentown.

She and her husband made and consistently fulfilled an unwavering, lifelong commitment to three generations of family.

And, for more than 60 years, they played an important and ongoing role in the lives of each member of that family.

She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to the extended family she loved and who love her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Thomas E. Jr., and his wife, Nina, of Allentown, Susan C. Reilly and her husband, Steven G. Buckley, of Wrentham, Mass., Scott T. and his wife, Lorrie, of Archbald; siblings Gordian V. and Marion Ehrlacher, Edward L. and Eileen Ehrlacher, William T. Ehrlacher, Frank J. and Darlene Ehrlacher, Thomas J. Ehrlacher, Leo P. and Laurie Ehrlacher, Dennis E. and Susan Ehrlacher, Dolores M. and Chris Guldner, Helene C. and Jack Evans; grandchildren Morgan and Ian Reilly, Kellen, Emalee and Jamie Buckley, Taralyn and Jack Reilly; and 26 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on Nov. 13, at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the church, with the Rev. Msgr. Joseph P.T. Smith and the Rev. Msgr. Robert J. Wargo as celebrants.

Her burial will be private.
