Josephine J. Pagliaro, 81, of Syosset, N.Y., died Oct. 26, 2015.

Born on July 28, 1934, in The Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Carmela (Calimeri) Calimeri.

A graduate of Hunter College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, she was a personnel administrator at Grumman Aerospace.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Hicksville, N.Y.

She was also a devoted grandmother, avid cook, gardener, knitter and canasta player.

Her survivors include children Carolyn A. Coni of Schnecksville, John J. Pagliaro of Plainview, N.Y., Elise M. Saltzman of Old Bethpage, N.Y; sisters Mary Waag of Macungie, Yolanda Costanzo of The Bronx; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial prayer services will be 3 p.m. on Nov. 15, in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

Family and friends may pay their respects 2-3 p.m. in the funeral home.
