U.L. Lions serving traditional Pa. German pig stomach dinner
Upper Lehigh Lions Club will be hosting a pig stomach dinner at the Schnecksville Fire Hall 4-7 p.m. Nov. 15.
In addition to this Pa. German specialty stuffed pig stomach, the family style meal also includes side dishes, homemade dessert and beverage.
The event is advance ticket sales only.

The Lions will be having their food trailer open for business at the Nov. 6 home football game as Parkland plays Whitehall in the district stadium.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laury’s Station, will conduct a walk-in basket social 5-8 p.m. Nov. 6, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 7. Drawing starts 3:30 p.m.
Plenty of food and refreshments will be available for purchase for eat-in or take-out.

Boy Scout Troop 144 will have a spaghetti dinner and basket raffle 4-7 p.m. Nov. 14. at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station.
Meal includes pasta with assorted sauces, salad, bread, dessert and beverage.
Tickets will be available at the door or may be purchased in advance. Save a dollar on each meal by obtaining tickets before Nov. 10.

The Tri-Cees Chorale from Lehigh Carbon Community College will be the featured musical group at the Gymanfa Ganu Welsh song fest at United Presbyterian Church, 6570 Route 873, Slatington.
Program will be presented 2:30 p.m. Nov. 8.
The Tri-Cees, who rehearse at LCCC, include staff, students, retired teachers, community members, and singers from church choirs.
The fest includes Welsh hymns and special pieces sung by Ellis Williams.
