Esther M. (Hein) Laub, 95, formerly of Coplay, died on Oct. 29, 2015, Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Laub.

Born Nov. 16, 1919, in Upper Saucon Township, she was the daughter of the late George E. Sr. and Tillie I. (Stauffer) Hein.

She was a domestic, cleaning homes and apartments in the Lehigh Valley for 22 years before retiring.

A member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, she was a former Sunday School teacher for 30 years and a member of the A.L. Held Bible Class.

Her survivors include a daughter Linda M. Schadler of Laurys Station; son Alfred E. Laub of Silver Lake, Kan.; brother the Rev. George E. Hein Jr. and his wife, Loretta, of Lebanon; grandchildren Vickie Lynne Schadler, Alan E., Jason M. and Joel W. Laub; and pet cat Dandee.

She was predeceased by brothers Ralph and Emmanuel Hein and a son-in-law Richard C. Schadler.
