Clyde L. Cunfer, Sr., 77, of Germansville, died Oct. 30, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife Delores G. (Handwerk) Cunfer were married 33 years Dec. 6, 2014.
Born Nov. 29, 1937, in Hazleton, Luzerne County, he was the son of the late Simon and Doris (Sims) Cunfer.
He formerly served in the U.S. Naval Reserves.
A truck driver at General Foam, West Hazleton, for 37 years before retiring in 2000, he previously was a self-employed truck driver and drove school bus.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Heidelberg Union Church where he formerly served on the council. He was the caretaker of the Heidelberg Union Cemetery for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Linda M. Fagan of Costa Rica, Clyde L. Jr. and his wife, Audrey, of Sugar Loaf, Michael L. and his wife, Judy, of Bloomsburg; sister, Edna Kisenwether of (Browns Grove) Drums; stepsons Stephen W. Saganowich III and his wife, Larissa of Germansville, Daniel I. Saganowich and his wife, Lara, of Ontario, Canada; grandchildren Sonja, Kyle, Julia, Lauren, and Megan; great-grandchildren, Abby, Mark, and Paul; and step-grandchildren, Ana, Emma, Jack, Quinn and Claire.
He was predeceased by siblings Jean Smith and Albert Cunfer.
