Antonio Sorrentino

Antonio Sorrentino, 86, of Ironton, died on Oct. 28, 2015, in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife Maria (Pizzo) Sorrentino were married 63 years.

Born Nov. 24, 1928, in Naples, Italy, he was the son of the late Ciro and Marie (DelVechio) Sorrentino.

A custom cabinet maker, he owned and operated the former Sorrentino’s Custom Kitchens, Ironton, for 26 years before retiring in 1984.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Marie Valerio and her husband, Victor, of Lakeland, Fla., Ciro and his wife, Rose, of Ironton, John Sr. and his wife, Antonina, of Ironton, Antonio Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Schnecksville; sisters Elvira Riccio of Allentown, Amelia Bartczak of Whitehall; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a grandson John Sorrentino, Jr.
