Joseph E. Laky, 83, of Bethlehem, died Oct.28, 2015. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Ignatius and Ernestine (Beitler) Laky. He was the husband of Rose Ann (Rudzie) Laky for 58 years.
He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He worked in the maintenance department for both the PBNE Railroad and Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He worked for a short time Holy Saviour Cemetery.
He was a former financial secretary for the Steel Workers Union.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph and his wife Mary of Palmer Township; a daughter, Kathleen Ann and son Michael James Laky, both of Bethlehem; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was predeceased by a brother, Frank J. Laky; and three sisters, Anna Dustan, Pauline Hinnerschietz and Marie Rosar.
