Police arrested a man following a domestic incident on Hayes Street around 1:30 a.m. Oct. 25.

Officers said William Rodriguez, 28, of Levering Place, allegedly smacked his girlfriend’s hand. When investigating, officers allegedly learned of a loaded, unsecured firearm readily accessible to three small children who were present.

Rodriguez is charged with harassment, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of children.
