Winter athletic physicals Oct. 29

Salisbury winter athletic physicals will be given Oct. 29 at Salisbury Middle School for all students planning on playing a winter sport. Boys should report 5 p.m. and girls are 5:45 p.m. There is a charge for physicals and cash or checks made payable to Salisbury Township School District will be accepted.

Winter physical paperwork and recertification paperwork for fall athletes and team managers are available in both the SMS and Salisbury High School offices.

Students must have a physical dated on or after June 1 to play a winter sport. Contact Salisbury Director of Student Activities Monica Deeb at mdeeb@salisburysd.org or call 610-797-4107, ext. 2504 with questions.

Fall sport season is winding down, but there are still a few games to see. The varsity boys soccer team plays Saucon Valley 6 p.m. Oct. 29 at home for the district quarterfinals. The varsity football team plays Palmerton 7 p.m. Oct. 30 for their last home game of the season. Let’s go Falcons!

School will be closed Nov. 3 for a professional development day.

The SHS girls basketball team is hosting a pancake brunch 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 8 in the SHS cafeteria. There will be all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice. There is a charge; children four and under are free. Tickets can be purchased from any girls basketball player and will also be available at the door.

Salisbury High School Theatre presents “The Importance of Being Earnest” 7 p.m. Nov. 12, 13 and 14 and 3 p.m. Nov. 15. Tickets can be purchased from any cast member or via email to salisburytheatre@salisburysd.org.
