Melanie A. Schade, a 2012 Parkland High School graduate, was recently named to the dean’s list for spring 2015 at Cedar Crest College, Allentown

McDaniel Local student on dean’s list

Tabitha M. Schade of Allentown was recently named in recognition of students’ academic excellence with highest honors to the spring 2015 dean’s list at McDaniel College, Westminster, Md.

Highest honors are earned for a semester grade point average of 3.90 or higher, high honors for a grade point average of 3.70-3.89, and honors for a 3.50-3.69 average.

Clark Univ.Area resident earns honors

Donovan Snyder of Orefield was named to second honors dean’s list at Clark University, Worcester, Mass.

This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2015 semester.

To be eligible for second honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s).

James Madison

Kelly Robertson of Breinigsville, a junior and student-athlete is competing in volleyball at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va.

IUP Allentown student on dean’s list

Zachary Barson of Allentown has been named to the summer 2015 dean’s list at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Barson is working towards a Bachelor of Science in accounting.

Students achieve dean’s list status when they are full-time (12 or more credits) with a grade point average of 3.25 or higher.
