Canned food drive helps local pantry

Gockley’s Halloween community project will be a real treat. On Oct. 30, students, staff, families and friends are encouraged to bring in a canned food item.

There will be a drop-off box at the school office. There also will be a drop-off box during the annual Halloween parade at the school.

At this one-day event, the food items will be donated to a local food pantry.

This is a great way for students to learn how to help their neighbors and community.
