Josephine A. Berger, 96, of Easton, died in her home on, Oct. 17, 2015. Born in the Pocono Lake area, she was a daughter of the late David E. and Minnie Berger.

She was a sewing machine operator for many years until she retired in 1981.

She is survived by a son, Gary Berger of Allentown; nieces and nephews, and especially Rodney and his wife Janet Gable, Brenda Wilton and Paula Nawrocki, who were like children to her; and a sister-in-law, Rita Berger of Bethlehem.

She was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.
